Chris Brennan is currently in his third year of a Bachelor of Counselling and Addictions. (BCAP).
He has 6 years’ experience working in the mental health field, as a mental health support worker and mental health employment consultant, supporting individuals to live the life they want while living with mental health challenges previously he spent many years working in various corporate and retail roles.
By using a combination of lived experience and evidence-based methods, Chris’ role is to facilitate and maintain positive change while providing opportunities for individual growth. These methods include motivational interviewing, Client-Centered Therapy, Talk Therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.
As a keen runner, Chris is a believer in the benefits of an active lifestyle and its role in maintaining good physical and mental health and can often be seen running on the roads around Whangaparaoa.
Each therapeutic session lasts for an hour.
